Lady Gaga is all about glam, and this time she is going all out for a good cause. She is one of the most spoken about celebrities. The pop singer is teaming up with M.A.C. Cosmetics for the second year in a row to help design the company's VIVA GLAM lipstick and lipglass shade collection, and 100% of the proceeds will be going to help fight HIV/AIDS. In addition to the new lipstick shades, she will set an additional goal of helping the M.A.C AIDS Fund reach their $250 million goal by July 2012.
The fund has raised more than $200 million for the cause to date through the VIVA GLAM brand, which was officially launched in 1991. Gaga is personally committed to removing the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS that prevents many from talking about he disease and what can be done to prevent it. She is a big supporter of the gay community but also wants to make people aware that the disease can strike anyone and empower people to take steps to prevent it.
